Ivan was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He qualified as a solicitor in 1998. Ivan is Honorary Consul for Luxembourg in Ireland.
Claire was educated at University College Dublin and graduated with a degree in Business and Legal Studies (BBLS Hons) in 2001, and subsequently with a LLM (European Law) in 2002
